Great item very well-made exactly what I wanted. 10 out 10

US made but Chinese quality.

Edges of the head are razor sharp. The magnetic nail starter doesn’t work with out some modifications. The shoulder where the nail head contacts the head is rounded and not square cut. Instead of starting the nail it flys away for the head. A grinder and a cut off disk will fix that problem. I have driven about a dozen nails with it and the teeth on the hammer face are showing signs of wear. Good throw away emergency hammer.

Good balance and head weight. Length is great for my arm and allows me to get a better swing producing a solid strike.

Vaughan Milled Face Steel Hammer

This hammer provides a nicely shaped grip and the length is nice for more power. It works well except when hit the nail off center. I longer handle takes a little getting used to for an amateur, but you get used to it.

I broke an older hammer I have had for years. bought this one and I dont even miss my old hammer. the bite on the head is amazing, the balance is great, the wood handle fits perfect in my hand. just a great hammer overall.

I bought this hammer but it isn't heavy enough to drive pole barn nails. so I gave it to my son. Nice hammer though.

I’m a framing carpenter and knew a few guys with this hammer. I love the axe handle for more driving force and the milled face prevents glancing off the nail. Some of these guys had these hammers for over 10 yrs. this is a great hammer I recommend to anyone who’s serious into roof, wall and floor framing.
