Would RecommendUsed it to cover a high gloss paint. Covered the paint well. However, it did not adhere well to the caulking near the tub. I had to use oil based Kilz to cover there.

Best alternative to oil primer
Would RecommendWith oil based primers becoming very difficult to find in my state, this is the best alternative to oil primer I’ve been able to find (for exterior use, can use shellacs for interior).

This primer is MAGIC!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was repairing old plaster walls after removing wallpaper in an 1890's Victorian. After using the Bonding Primer, the walls were amazingly improved and ready for paint. We used Valspar Reserve and it looks professionally done. HUGE improvement!

Would Not RecommendThe product is inferior, I wanted Kilz, apparently Lowe’s doesn’t sell it anymore. They recommended this product, after three coats, the stain still appears. Doesn’t quite do the job that it advertises.

This "Bonding" Primer doesn't work!!!
Would Not RecommendDo NOT Buy this product! It is supposed to be a "Bonding" Primer....but it doesn't Bond at all! I painted my Bathroom Tile and Shower with it twice....and gave it 3 days to dry in a climatized environment. The first bit of water on it makes it come up. I want my money back!!!
