Would Not RecommendI have purchased many of these over the years for my shop to turn shop vacs on and off remotely. They've always worked great. I just bought another one to add to the collection and I can't get it to work from any farther away from 5ft, which completely defeats the purpose. I tried brand new batteries in the remote and still won't work from far away. So, it's completely useless. Won't be buying any more.

Unfortunately, the minute we plugged it in outside it short-circuited and caused a fuse to blow in our house. We returned the item not seeking a replacement by with caution.
