DON'T LOSE THE ADAPTER CORD

If you buy this product, DO NOT LOSE THE ADAPTER CORD. Lowes does not carry the adapter cord separately, cannot or will not order the adapter cord separately. Also UTILITECH is a housebrand and so there is no UTILITECH company you can call to get the adapter cord. I spent hours on the phone with LOWES trying to solve this lost cord problem and finally found someone who could help me with a generic product, but what a waste of time. This is a great cord for your generator. Works like a champ. What I didn't like was Ibshould have bought it last year when it was $100 less.

Nice 10/3 cord for high amp tools or generator

I liked that it is 10/3 gage wire and that the insulation seems strong and ends are molded to the wire. 10/3 awg means at this length it is able to handle the full 20 amps it is rated for. The cord is heavy and due to its gage a bit challenging to coil. I struggled to find a suitable storage reel to hold it so I am using a Lowes bucket. It is appropriate for a 20amp plug for a copy machine.
