Would RecommendThe Utilitech Pro 25-ft 30- generator cable is well made. It's a great cable and flexible for a 4 wire 10 gauge cable. I purchased it to go with the CAT RP 6500 generator I purchased so I could connect it to my disconnect panel and power my house when the power goes out during the hurricanes.

Just what we needed
Would RecommendBought this cord for hurricane prep. Didn't get to use it but they were available at the store when hurricane was expected to hit. Too bad it wasn't longer.

Very High Quality
Would RecommendThis is really a perfect cable. Very flexible, no noticeable drop in amperage, bonded and waterproof ends (so it seems). Worth the money.

Make sure your cords are compatible, folks!
Would RecommendUpgraded my generator, never considered replacing the cord. Turns out the old one is an older standard. This was my replacement. $100 is kinda steep but it’s way longer than most so you can put it further from the house. Gauge handled most everything we loaded on it (fridge, central air + handler, lights, TVs, internet/ cable) but I’d use A/C separately from oven and water heater.

Bad wiring
Would Not RecommendMy generator would trip each time I plugged in the cord. After hiring a master electrician to figure things out, he found the cord was mis-wired at the factory which caused all the problems. Replacement cord works just fine.
solid product
Would RecommendNo issues at all. It plugs directly into our champion portable generator on one end and our transfer switch on the other end.
