I love this timer

It's quiet! The last timer we had was so noisy I needed a replacement. And the digital quality makes it easy to set and forget. The small size makes it almost unnoticeable on the wall.

Easy and Simple Digital Timer

Having tired of the motor hum from the old mechanical light timers, I decided to try a digital. I selected this one and could not be happier with my decision. It was very simple to program and has been working flawlessly since I installed 2 of them last week.

Can't turn light on/off manually

The timer works as it should but there is no way to turn the light on/off manually on the timer. It needs this feature.

Quiet and precise

It even has a battery backup, although I don't know how long. Anyone who deals with power loss can appreciate this timer. I can set the timer precisely to the minute and without the old mechanical timer; there is no clicking or ticking sound.

Good Timer For Daily Use

I use this timer to control a heated towel rack. The only shortcoming is that the display is difficult to see when the timer is plugged into the outlet. You have to get down on its level to set it. However, after you set it, it works perfectly.

Works as advertised.

Easy to setup. Just wish it had forward and back buttons for setting time and alarm. It you accidently go past setting you want, you have to ahead anther 24 hours again. Other than that minor issue it is great. Has a battery backup. Not sure what happens when that dies. I guess it doesn't work as other reviews have mentioned.

Timer Works

This small neat product does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is easy to set, and it is quiet compared to the mechanical clock type of timer.

Digital timer

We used a dial type timer for years and it was getting a little noisy with age. When I saw this in the isle I decided to buy it. Got it home and set it up easily within a few minutes. We use it to turn on an electric water pot for tea in the morning, and it works great. Im getting used to the added quiet.

Does not work; returned

The timer was easy to set and would be reasonable value for the price, except that it did not work properly. It turned the light on but would not turn it off. Returned to store.

Works fine for my application

Owned and used this timer for 2 weeks, now. I wanted to turn on the lamp near my bedside about 5 minutes before my morning wake-up alarm went off. By turning the lamp five minutes earlier than the alarm, my eyes are conditioned to the light and I feel more likely to "rise and shine". "Of course my plan is working fine." I have hit the snooze only once in the last 2 weeks. No problems with the timer.

Good easy to use timer at a great price.

Very pleased overall for the price paid. Would have paid a little more for a timer that had multiple on-off times. But for the price it's great. Even keep time during a power failure (battery back-up)

did not work

nothing on the digital dial lit up. plugged in in for several hours and hit reset, still no numbers. took it back and looked for one that worked. non lit up. I think that they had been on the shelf so long that the batteries wore down and were not capable of recharging

Fair timer

This timer is fair to average. I bought two one year ago. One is still working while the other one has lost its' shutoff capability. Purchased a new one in July '13 and when I went to program it found it did not work. As some have mentioned on the site, I plugged it in for 24 hours. Still not able to program the device. I am returning it to Lowes.

Simple to use

Kind of strange...There are 2 similar timers on this sight listed as item 144506. The 2 timers I purchased have the same item #, but the buttons are arranged a little different. Basically, 3 slightly different products with the same item #...wierd. Anyway, I'll be setting these up in the house while we go on vacation in a few days. Although our neighbors will "keep an eye on things", it's always good to have light timers to create the appearance that someone is home. These timers are inexpensive...

Timer

I used this to turn my living room lamp on and off while I was away. Super easy to set - like setting a digital alarm clock. Only problem was that the timer has to go into a 3-prong outlet, and my older house has both, so I had to use a different outlet than I had planned and then move the lamp to reach the timer. Probably wouldn't be a problem in most situations.
