Better Blown Away Than Blown Up

This fan performs admirably. I don't consider the noise level too high. I have no difficultly in moving it. I have refrained from giving this 5 stars because I cannot judge longevity. I am very happy to have it.

A Great Purchase

Only 15 minutes from unpacking, assembly/setup and the fan was ready to use. It is very well built and is rugged enough to stand up to my daily operations. I plan to use it for multiple applications. 1st-- to ventilate my tractor barn during maintenance and repairs when running equipment,welding,painting,etc. 2nd-- to ventilate my decks and gazebo during family summer events. Lots of power and great air movement.

Pretty good fan

Got the box delivered and was happy with the weight and solidity of the fan, with how things tend to be manufactured these days. After using it outside for a few days during a fencing project, am pretty happy with it. The wheels are decent sized though maybe a bit larger would be nice, and it does have a bit of rattle on high sometimes on one of the grates but it’s not overly loud or distracting. This product is great for using out in my garage. The fan moves a lot of air around. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great product!

Finished idea

I am energy conscious so when my fan arrived I knew where it was going to be used. It has been placed in my attic on low speed to keep the air circulated and to keep a more even temperature. After monitoring it the past few days I have seen a beneficial change that I am happy with. Next test will be in the summer heat. The possibilities of uses of this fan are unlimited. Very useful product in anyone's home or garage.

Just what was needed

I received this fan and even though it is a bit cool right now, I love it! Have a 40x60 shop with a home built wood stove for heat. Use this fan to circulate the heat in my shop. It helps to warm it up nicely and can hardly wait to see how great it will be this summer when it gets warm again!

Loud fan. But strong fan.

This would be ideal as a shop fan where it wouldn’t matter how loud it was. It is powerful and blows air, but it sounds like a train is whooshing by. But again, legitimate powered fan.

This is a Big Fan!

This fan arrived to my humble abode and I was surprised at the size of the box. I had to load it on the back of my truck to go next door to the garage. No problem, just use leverage and it was up and on its way. I put some old cardboard box on the floor for protection, removed the sealing tape and turned the unit upside down. Solid construction good product

This fan moves some serious air! I use it when working with chemicals in my garage. It moves enough air that after I finish and remove my respirator there is only a faint smell of any product I have been using. Assembly was simple and required no tools and I was able to figure it out before I even looked at the instructions. This fan is huge!

I couldn't have gotten this fan at a better time. My AC went out and this fan along with our ceiling fan had the entire house cool. We actually got it for our porch and patio use. I'm glad I got this one.

Absolutely awesome fan

I got this fan to use in my shop. I need a larger fan to help remove dust from sanding etc. this thing is amazing. The only assembly needed was to put the wheels on. It took about two minutes. Two speeds make it nice because sometimes you just don’t need that much force. High speed really is high. The rpms on this thing amazes me when I was used to a small fan. Really Moves The Air!

I gave it 4 stars because it really needs 3 speeds instead of 2. The low speed is still too fast to use in a tighter workspace like a garage, or material will blow around. It arrived in great condition, and it's very easy to assemble. The wheels make this easy to move around. It is surprisingly quiet given the velocity. This is the 36" model, and they make a larger one, but this works well for me because it stores easily (it has a narrow profile) against the garage wall.

Here is the Utilitech Pro 2-Speed High Velocity Fan, model SFDC-900F. This is one big fan, and was shipped in its original display packaging, and still came with no damage. The fan is fairly well packaged inside the box. This is a huge fan that moves a lot of air

This is just what I needed for my workshop and barns. If you have a very large area that needs a lot of air movement then this 3-foot tall fan won’t disappoint you. It pretty much comes ready to use, all I had to do was put the wheels on which were already on the axel so it only took one screw to hook together. LOTS OF WIND

This 36” fan is very strong for the size. Would be better if they had a 3rd setting option like a very low setting. Doesn’t take up much space and is well built. Would work great in shop or pole barn. Overall pretty impressive and assembly was very easy

36" Fan

I like this fan for our garage and shop. It's kind of loud but if we put it in one corner its not too bad. I think it will diffidently come in handy this summer. I am actually thinking a buying another one to go with it so we don't have to move it from the shop to the garage when we need it.

Great shop fan

I received the product and was astonished at not only the size but the area it covers. It makes an excellent fan to keep your large room or garage cooled off while working. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a good and hard working fan!

Enormous beast that really moves air

I really like this fan! My husband is a mechanic and the summer months are brutal and this fan is definitely gonna help! When the box arrived I was shocked how large this fan was. I timed removing it from all the packaging and “assembly” (which was only attaching the wheels) and it took 7.21 mins. You’ll need a philips head screwdriver. Overall this fan is great! The fan its self is light weight for its size compared to other high velocity fans I have bought in the past. The fan has two hooks to wrap the cord around to make it easy to move without the cord getting run over by the wheels. The two handles on top make it easier to carry up stairs and for loading. Disclosure: I received this product in return for an unbiased review. The fan arrived packed in its retail packaging, which was excellent. The cardboard box was quite heavy and possible puncture points on the inside were reinforced with additional pieces of cardboard.
