High velocity fans should be outlawed
Would Not RecommendIn every instance, high velocity means extreme noise and low torque motors. The insane roar of fast spinning blades that just beat the air does not equate to powerful air movement. It's all about blade angle and these motors can handle the strain of properly angled and tuned blades. High velocity is a huge scam and will damage your hearing. Do your research first. I recommend belt driven fans.

Would Not RecommendSeems well built enough, but I couldn't use it in the garage - it's so loud, even on low speed, that I couldn't hold a conversation or listen to music while working out. Even worse, it does not move a significant amount of air, even outdoors. At this price, I could not justify keeping it.

Would Not RecommendThe fan has 2 settings; low and high. Low doesn't do much. High is loud as heck and still barely pushes air. the only air that comes out is around the circular rim, not directly in the middle like other fans. returning it today.

Would RecommendNice large and very powerful two speed fan. Does the job. It is loud, but not ridiculously so. Delivered very fast.

Would Not RecommendWe have a very large porch and bought this to help in the summer. But it's REALLY loud, even at the lower speed (of only 2 speeds). And it doesn't even move very much air. Very disappointing.
