Would RecommendThis is great for my grow light in my hydroponic plants.
Great light
Would RecommendThe light works fantastic, the only downside is there is not an on/off switch for the light. You have to unplug it to turn it off.
Good product BUT
Would RecommendStowed away on the bottom shelf in a corner. Hard to find.
Great work Light
Would RecommendAwesome work light for my garage, the ONLY thing is there's no on/off switch, so you have to plug/unplug it and that's a pain!

Fair Functionality
This reflector is very basic. It appears to handle the recommended wattage fine. I would note several limitations: 1. The only limitation I'd consider a design flaw is that the built-in clamp works quite poorly. It needs to be larger and have a stronger spring to provide the grip necessary to secure the light. The result is that it easily slips off, which could be hazardous, given this is an item that gets extremely hot, holds a fragile glass bulb, and handles electricity. I had to use a woodwo...
Parts missing???
Would Not RecommendThe light was nice, and built well, but in looking at the picture that Lowe's sent me, asking for this review, the picture has two metal guard wires across the lamp opening where the bulb is. The one I got did not. The day after I bought this one I was in another hardware store and bought a work light and it did include the wires and was $4.00 cheaper!

Poor Design
Would Not RecommendThe Lowe's employees are always very helpful and I enjoy shopping at Lowe's. However, this product's design flaw is the Clamp is not sufficiently strong enough to support the weight of the lamp. I really like the high wattage of this portable light. I have purchased this product today, 1/4/16.
Great to keep chickens or humming birds warm
Would RecommendI use these lights to keep my chickens warm through the winter. I also discovered that you can hang one under the eves of your house, put in a 60 watt red light bulb and hang your hummingbird feeder from the cage during the winter and it will keep the nectar thawed and the hummers warm. We have so many hummingbirds in our yard we have to hang a couple out to keep them all warm and fed during our long, dreary winters in Western Washington. Now if only Lowe's would still stock the red bulbs!

Good product for outside building
Would RecommendProduct is pretty basic, but provides a good, portable light source in my boat storage building. Clip is good, but could be stronger to support light better.

Defective Product
Would Not RecommendThe light I bought was defective as the threads would not accept a light bulb. I had to return to the store to exchange the product.

Met my needs
Would RecommendThis light has some good features such as the guard for the bulb and the attachments which allow the light to be clamped onto something or hung from a hook or nail. The feature that it lacks is an on/off switch. It has to be unplugged to turn it off. The aluminum the light is made of is very light weight and bends easily. I had to look through 5 or 6 on the store shelf before I found one that was not bent. One reason I chose this light was that it is designed for a large wattage incandescent bul...
Not the best fixture.
Would Not RecommendFor one thing, there is not on/off switch. To turn it off, you have to unplug it. The base also was not stable. When I tried to unscrew the lightbulb, the insulated part came unscrewed from the base.
Average
Would Not RecommendThe lamp was hard to tighten and did not remain in place.
just what i needed
Would Recommendworks great for my chicken brooder. I built an adjustable arm and measured the distances needed for 95, 90, 85, 80, and 75 degrees. The chickens did great and I'll save the contraption and bulb for next year.
