Excellent clip on light.

Light works just as designed; mount it anyplace. My only criticism is the aluminum reflector. The metal is soft and dents easily if you drop it. Even when I picked it out of the bin at Lowe's, I noticed that several already had dents. Otherwise, it works great either indoors or outdoors; many uses, including as a cheap, photographer's modeling light. You can shift and aim it exactly where you want it.

Thin as paper

I checked three different stores including HD and WalMrt and every one of them are carrying these aluminum shop lights that seem to be manufactured to absolute minimum spec. I don't see issues with the switch or cord, but the aluminum shade's stocked in all three stores are thin as paper. They can easily be dented with a finger tip. Great product for what I need.

I have not yet used this one but I have used and identical one in the past and loved it. I needed to replace it because I gave the old one to someone. It is a good light to use. Currently I am using it as a grow light for my seedlings.

nothing spectecular to say about this product, it does the job it was designed for, and the price was reasonable.

Bayco Portable Work light

I got this light to fit in my self made seed starting container and it fits perfectly. I will start my seeds and shine light on the tray using this Portable Work Light and a 150W CFL bulb which fits very well.

150-Watt Incandescent Portable Work Light

Purchased this item and a 250 watt heat lamp bulb recently to warm the shed where my dogs sleep. There was a large display of these and the bulbs right as you entered my local Lowe's. I wasn't aware that this was a 150 watt work light until I received the email requesting I submit a review of this item. I am using this item for my newborn biddies. It is great for that purpose.

Great for Greenhouse

I bought this light for a recently purchased greenhouse and it works perfectly. It clamps to the top of the structure and can be placed anywhere it is needed. Love it.

1/2 the price of fancier lights with regular bulbs

You could spend much more and get no better light at a job site.

Nice heater for a cat condo!

These work lamps make great heaters in the little houses I made for both of my cats (outdoor pets). The light deflector dome reflects heat from a 40 watt bulb. The spring clamp makes it easy to position in the ceiling of the condo. I have also used these lamps the way they were intended and was very satisfied.

Highly useful

I like these lights for my shop… easy to move and adjust! The adjustment section is way too lightweight tho… that area its easy to bend, making it sag weather than hold the position. The whole light is way too lightweight… but it is hard to find stronger or sturdier especially at this price!

A MUST TO HAVE

YOU CAN USE THIS LIGHT ANYWHERE, REFLEXES LIGHT VERY WELL. CAN BE CLAMPED AND USED WHERE YOU NEED IT IN SECONDS, A MUST TO HAVE FOR EVERYONE.

Perfect for plants in the winter time.

I use these in the winter to keep a grow light on my plants in the basement. They work great.

Light bulb can't handle being bumped.

I bought this work light hoping it would be better then the halogen's I had used in the past. The halogen bulbs didn't last long at all, in spite of being very expensive. At least this Incandescent Work Light was more affordable and the bulbs a lot less expensive than halogen, BUT it doesn't last any longer. Can't someone come up with a reliable work light for the average handyman??

size wrong

Stated width is 12 inches, product is only 81/2 inches wide. It has caused me a lot of time and energy to deal with this.
