Would RecommendThis helped us replace household bulbs that were in a high traffic pathway and posed a hazard as they were low hanging, this option is safe, gives great light and lasts a really long time!

Just what I wanted, if it worked
Had my eye on one of these for the laundry room to replace the bare bulb that is in there now. Took the bulb out and screwed this one in. Didn't work. So I tried the closet where another bare bulb light was at. Same thing. Either this one is defective or it is not able to screw down all the way to make sufficient contact. Made several attempts, still nothing. After testing it at 2 locations, still not working. Got to return it. Giving it 3 stars, middle of the road for a great idea bu...
Ceiling light fixture
Would RecommendThis goes over an existing old-fashioned ceramic single bulb ceiling light. Updates the look. Very simple to install: take out your lightbulb, screw this into place.

Fast upgrade, Great lighting
Would RecommendI used this light for a replacemnt in a laundry room. I wanted to upgrade to led for a brighter, clearer, long lasting light in this well used area. I first thought of just keeping the existing light fixture and getting an led bulb. That fixture was dated so I looked at other fixtures when I found this simple upgrade of the fixture with great led lighting. We are very well pleased with the fixture and the easy screw in placement. This meant no rewiring involved, nice.

Would RecommendWe had upgraded the closet with this twist in version and instantly had brighter light. No wiring necessary. Worked out so well, we put another in the garage. In ten minutes I was superhero of the house.

Good
Would RecommendKinda plain and sort of flimsy. But well worth the money. Works well. And it's not likely to be under any stress in a light socket. It would be better if they explain more clearly that this scores into a medium (stsndard) base light socket.

If you can install a light bulb then this is for you. The light is brighter than most, works great in my closet.

It was difficult to install aligning the wires perfectly and going back and forth turning the breaker on and off. If took a few times but once we got it to work it was great in our small laundry room. Now it's been a year I went to flip the switch and it shorted out and no longer works. How does an LED light that is supposed to last 10+ years go out after a year? No breaker issues, no disconnected wires. Very disappointed.
