Only thing needed is somewhere for the chain for the light to go through, not rubbing on the plastic.

Screw it on

I was on a mission of replacing my old fixtures throughout our house, one of the most easy and items that I found during my preforming this task was how easy and simple some of this lighting was to do. This item simply just screwed in as if replacing a lightbulb. One of the other features is how easy it is to actually rewire and existing fixture if it is not a single screw on setup. Why didn't someone think of this before?

This light/cover is perfect for a closet, but it would be fine anywhere. The light is super bright and it's easy to install. I love it.

utilitech 6.9 inch LED flush mount light

The amount of light that this light gives is very good. I bought two of them for my upstairs storage room and an attic room. They are easy to install (just like turning a light bulb) They do not mount flush to the ceiling though. I was a little disappointed with that. But overall they do what they are make for and that is bring light to the rooms they are in. The rooms are not living space only storage.

This light will not flush up to ceiling when installed on a surface mount keyless socket. It leaves approximately 3/8” gap at the ceiling. Ok for inside use if you don’t care about the gap. Would not use on porch although it is for damp locations per the box because water can gather inside the enclosure.

simple and effective

Bought because the glass globe on our light broke anf zi did not want to replace it because I never liked it anyway. because the old light had a ring for the globe it doesn't sit completely flush, but if you dont know to look it's not noticeable. will fix that when the bathroom geta remodeled. it's a bit plain but functional and I am not fancy. you could always dress ir up.

White Traditional Integrated LED Light

Really nice product. I have "installed" three of them. Screw out old bulb- screw in White Traditional Integrated LED Light EZ PZ Very bright A little pricey, but they look nice and work well.

Solid value, simple fix to upgrade.

Had one, lasted almost 4 years, leave on over sink as night light and added light from shadows cast over counter while working since the main light is over head and centered. About 60 watt white diffused light. Simple screw in bulb base connected to printed circuit board with led on epreverse side. Plastic cover then screws on to fixture with 1/2 turn. Simple screw in installation. If no socket instructions show what you need to ad. If older house like ours.

Excellent Light

I love these lights! I have replace 3 lights in my home with this light. It works well for updating the old light bulb base with a glass globe ceiling light. My bathroom had 2 lights that used bulbs and even though, I was using LED bulbs it was still dark in the room. I replaced both with this product. Now I have an enormous amount of light and I don't have to worry about changing the bulbs. I installed one of these lights in my laundry room in 2017 and its still going strong!

Doesn't last long

Purchased this early 2019 and now no longer working. It was great when working thus 3 stars. Since it was LED I thought it would last at least 5 years.

Nice and bright and easy

Easy to install in garage sockets just turn like a light bulb. It added brightness to an otherwise dark garage. Now I can see at night and during the day when I don’t want to open my garage doors for the neighbors to see.

Fantastic, economical solution!

My home inspection noted that bare bulbs in ceramic ballasts were no longer allowed by code. An electrician suggested new fixtures, but I happened across this product. For the cost of the lights, my problem was solved. I’ve got up to date LED lights that do a great job of lighting up my basement. And I no longer have to pull strings.

Not an actual flush mount light- it’s a light bulb

I bought this thinking it was a hard wired flush mount light. It is actually designed to be twisted into a light socket. This should be labeled more appropriately.

Easy to use just screw into existing light socket. Its really bright.
