Ratings & Reviews for Utilitech 1/2-ft 16 / 1 Light Duty 3 Prong White Indoor Extension Power Cord

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this short extension cord for solving tight outlet challenges with its compact, angled design that fits behind furniture and in recessed spaces. Many appreciate the multiple outlet configuration that accommodates bulky transformer plugs and Christmas lights without a power strip. Reviewers consistently describe it as well-made, durable, and affordable. A few note the angled plug can reduce effective length in extremely tight spaces or cause slight protrusion, and one reported a defective unit. Overall, most customers find it an indispensable solution for space-constrained outlets.

Would RecommendThis short extension cord is perfect when you need an extra receptacle at an existing outlet. There's no long cord to trip over—it just hangs there on the wall where you can plug in that extra appliance (or, in my case, a Christmas candle!).

Does a pretty good job, better without extra slot
Would RecommendThis mostly does the trick, but I wish they had not put the extra slot on the back of the plug - I needed this where I have an outlet that does not have much space in front of it. The extra slot makes it stick out further. But otherwise, it's fine.

Keep those plugs out of the way
Would RecommendThis little adapter is terrific for redirecting bulky AC plugs down, parallel to the wall, instead of sticking straight out.

Controlling Large Wall Plugs!
Would RecommendWith so many electronics using bulky wall plugs, these things are so useful! They make is much easier to keep outlet plugs available for other items rather than having a large plug block the other outlet.

Plug is too bulky to place two of them next to each other (side-by-side or above) unless outlets are far apart
