Ratings & Reviews for Utilitech White 4-in 700 -Lumens Switchable white Round Dimmable LED Canless Wet rated Recessed Downlight

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the gimbal recessed light for its straightforward installation, adjustable color temperature (2700K to 6500K), and brightness control. The canless design with spring-loaded clips and push-in connectors saves time, while the flush-mounted, compact metal housing fits seamlessly into existing openings. Most appreciate the dimmable functionality for customizing room ambiance and note the bright, durable construction exceeds expectations. A few report isolated defects or mention the gimbal rotation lacks full 360-degree flexibility, though overall customers consider it reliable and worthwhile.

An Excellent adjustable gimbal ceiling fixture
Would Recommendexcellent fixture. Easy to install. I like the variability in Setting the output of the fixture. It’s also well-made. It’s not plastic but metal. The rotating gimbal also is ideal for cathedral ceilings. I highly recommend this fixture if that’s what you’re looking for.

Nice Adjustable Gimbal Lights
Would RecommendGood product great for highlighting specific areas. We replaced the wall mount light fixture with 3 of these canless LED and added dimmer switch. tried to only use 2 but not super bright even on 6500k daylight setting. Went back adding another in the middle. The only issue is you have to use 4.5 hole saw and of course everyone have 4”-5” but not 4.5” spent $57 for a new milwaukee 4.5” carbide hole saw. Now I can install more lights of the 4” size.

Gimble is not 360 degrees.
Canless light makes for easy installation. Dimmable lights were a requirement. Selectable intensity allows integration to existing environment. Fairly priced.

Horrible template
Would Not RecommendThe itself is ok. The template they give you is too big. The fixture fell right through. I am a master electrician and have installed thousands of can lights. This is probably the worst template I've seen. Now drywall repair has to me done or I need a larger trim package. Not happy at all!
