Would RecommendAmazing how easy this was to install. Replaced two older incandescent lights. Hooking up the wiring was a snap too. Gotta love the new technology! One CON, but worth the effort: Had to upgrade the dimmer switch to work with LED, otherwise lights flicker at high intensity.

Would RecommendThese lights are very easy to install. We bought 5 of them to upgrade our house that was built in the 90’s. We have a 16 ft vaulted ceiling. I was able to wire most of the 5 without climbing into the attic. Not having to to install cans is a huge time saver. My wife then got to choose the color once i had them in. But you do have to switch the color on each one individually. So pick a color and stick with it.

Nice lights but not Gimbal, only Axial
Would Not RecommendI bought two of these lights to go above a movable island. Here are my impressions: 1. They say they are gimbal but they are not. They do not rotate, only angle back and forth. 2. There are only two spare inputs in the connectors. A third is necessary. 3. The fit and finish is good. The locking wings that fit behind the drywall is a better design than most. 4. The colour shifts are set, it is not a continuous change. They seem accurate compared to other lights in my house. The light distribution...

Great option for recessed lighting
We are renovating the entire 1st floor of our house and have installed eight of these in various locations. They are extremely easy to install, don't take up any space, and enable you to select the color/temperature of the lighting with a simple switch on the connecting base. This is a far cry from how the old-style can/recessed lights used to work. I would highly recommend these for anyone that wants a clean and efficient recessed lighting option.

Would RecommendThese are amazing! I've been wanting to replace an overhead glass ball light in my kitchen for years. I never did it due to the fact I would have to climb to a hard to reach corner of the attic and install a recessed lighting can. With this, all I had to do was remove the existing light, remove the casing the light was suspended from, connect the wiring, set the light setting (5 choices to choose from), and push the light into place. Excellent retrofit option
Would RecommendUtilitech has several LED lighting products that are easy to install and are great when replacing existing hanging fixtures that collect dust while waisting electricity. Fast install and adjustable from warm yellow light to bright white to cool blue. Well worth trying.
