Works as advertised

Easy install, I installed 4 in my basement bathroom, and I love that fact that I didn't have to install cans.

LIghts up the room

This is a wonderful product. We ended up installing 17 in all and I love the ease of the installation. The best part is you get to decide the intensity of the light. Excellent product.

Light response time

Light does not come on for split second after giving it power. I do not like this . Is there a fix?

Quality Option

Newer technology provides the illumination of more expensive canned lighting with ease of installation and adaptation. Five different illumination settings for most any application. Only question is why Lowe's doesn't carry the connectors that come with the unit. Just cut them off and direct wired each unity to circuit. Will not hesitate to use them again - and often!

what a difference they make

I actually went back and got the 6-in Utilitech lights and they look so sleek and are very bright. I have mine on a dimmer and unless I am painting they usually are close to the lowest setting on the dimmer switch. Plus energy efficient as well. I had many questions about the lights and what switch to buy. Jim at the Issaquah store helped me out and was the most knowledgeable and helpful person I have had the pleasure to meet, he beats all of the other people from his competitor stores. Wil...

Excellent idea

If you like recessed lights but can't decide on a brightness, get these they have a selector switch that goes from yellowish to bright white. Perfect idea!

Lights are great, packing leaves them damaged

Lights are great, packing leaves them damaged. In the 6ct boxes, they were packed exposed face of the luminary to the aluminum pigtail box. This caused nicks, dings, and scratches in the face, that would be visible from normal distances. I purchased 3 boxes (18 lights) and had 3-4 in each 6 ct box with significant nicks, dings, or scratches in the paint, 1-2 in each box with minor defects or thin paint on the inside corner of the housing ring (likely would not be visible), and 1 pristine ligh...

Great lights with one minor drawback

I bought eight of these lights to replace the old sagging can lights in my kitchen. They were relatively easy to install but the minor drawback is there’s not much space in the transformer/junction box, so you have to keep your leads short or you’ll run out of room. Other than that they are great lights. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Nice Lights

These are pretty nice little lights, easy to install. Word of advice, when popping out the knock-out, don't take out the one on side with color control switch as depicted in the product instructions. The ground wire is welded just next to that knock-out, and there is not room to install a standard 3/8 clamp connector to secure the incoming line.
