What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this heat lamp for its versatility across brooding chicks, animal warming, frozen pipe prevention, and plant growth, with many noting it raises temperatures 15 degrees or more when paired with appropriate bulbs. Most find it affordable and effective for DIY and agricultural needs. However, several report the clamp is weak and slips under weight, and the metal frame bends easily. A few mention the lack of an on/off switch requires unplugging. Despite these design flaws, most customers consider it a reliable, worthwhile purchase for the price.

Used it to help warm the area where the neighborhood cats feed on my deck. Clamp is great. I used a hook as well, to hold the lamp steady and away from the wood siding because I was leery of leaving it on all night but the wood never got hot.
