What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this heat lamp for its versatility across brooding chicks, animal warming, frozen pipe prevention, and plant growth, with many noting it raises temperatures 15 degrees or more when paired with appropriate bulbs. Most find it affordable and effective for DIY and agricultural needs. However, several report the clamp is weak and slips under weight, and the metal frame bends easily. A few mention the lack of an on/off switch requires unplugging. Despite these design flaws, most customers consider it a reliable, worthwhile purchase for the price.

Would RecommendBought this after reading other reviews on a cheap but yet very effective work lighting system. I combined this with Utilitech 100 Watt 1600 Lumes Daylight CFL bulbs and it does quite a job at lighting up a large area for very cheap. Pro's Cheap compared to halogen work light. Does it's job well with correct bulbs. Con It can take a few tries to get the clamp set depending on what and where your trying to clamp the light too.

This works well for a heat lamp for my chickens
Would RecommendI love this store! Things are easy to find and the customer service is great!

Great for double bulb receptacle.
Would RecommendI plan to use the large reflector with two 12 volt CFL bulbs (using a double bulb receptacle) on the boat. The large reflector will physically accommodate this configuration. Good quality for high wattage bulbs.

flimsy
Would Not RecommendWhen purchasing I had to pick one that wasn't damaged, the reflector bends and dents easily even when assembling the wire guard. Very flimsy and not something you would want to use for portable lighting in a construction environment. Took it back for a refund.

Great heat lamp for farm!
Would RecommendThe cold winter temps were really getting to both our chickens and our young Boer goat kids, despite both having housing (insulated chicken coop and wooden barn for goats). We worried that temps in the 20s and teens would be too cold and wanted to add just a little more heat for them. We purchased a few of these portable work lights and added a red incandescent heat light bulbs and it brought temps up at least 15-degrees. They were warmer and much happier with this addition to their sleeping qua...

Very disappointed in this product
Would Not RecommendThe clamp that holds the light in position is too weak and does not hold. The metal shield is so flimsy that the bulb guards come loose at a slight bump. Good heavy cord.
Brooder Light
Would RecommendUse this with a Ceramic Heat Bulb to heat my chicken Coop works Great and the price is Just right!
Bad Deal
Would Not RecommendThe reflector is made of very thin metal. All of the lights were bent when the shipment arrived. We did not have time to get them replaced so we bent them back as well as possibile. Looks good in the picture but it is a VERY ceap product.
Best Purchase for Brooding Chicks
Would RecommendExcellent quality clamping light for chick brooding. Price is reasonable also.
