Would RecommendI recently moved into a house that was built in 1968. While the electrical panel and most of the wiring was upgraded, the Dryer receptacle was not. My newer Dryer plug would not mate with the old receptacle. Since this receptacle was a surface mount, the new Utilitech Outlet was a perfect match and replacement was a breeze.

Very sturdy construction and great secure connectors for the 4 wires. Would have given it 5 stars except that the design of the cover screw is such that it is difficult to find the screw hole in the base to secure the cover to it.
