Would Not RecommendThe lugs that hold the conductors in place are lousy. There is a little clip that is supposed to bridge two posts and hold the conductor in place. These are cheap, and don't work well. The little clip will kick out sideways when tightening the conductor. This is a terrible design for an electrical device, and probably a fire hazard.

does the job
Would Recommendeasy to "hook" up the wires, screw into the wall, the absolute hardest part was deciding which way I should have the wire coming out( below or in back) I also bought a plug which help me put the wires to the correct spot since this is the first time connecting, "color coded" terminals would have made it easier but then again wasn't hard at all.

Easy to install
Would RecommendTypical 4 prong outlet, screws inside are color coded where the wires go. (Bronze color for red and black, white for white neutral buss, and green for ground.) Be sure to install the wire clamp before inserting the cable into the unit.
Very poor quality
Would Not RecommendTook me six times the amount of time that it should have, now to be fair it was a replacement that was mounted close to floor and I just had a knee replacement three weeks ago but once you loosen the screws to slip each wire in the screw and contact plate fall out of grooves, ended up taking it back off wall getting all back in place and putting tape around outside of each one to hold in place long enough to get wire in place

Worked like a charm.
Would RecommendUsed this to add a plug for a larger size air compressor. Had an electrician check my work. Turned on the breakers once completed, and the air compressor worked great. When deciding how to mount it, check what the plug being inserted so that you can mount this receptacle in the right orientation. Otherwise, your appliance cord might have to be turned upside down to plug in correctly.
