Would RecommendThis outlet is fine for welders and dryers. Things that do not run for very long. If you want a 6-50 for an EV charger please purchase an outlet from a producer like Hubbell. An EV will pull the full 40amps for over 4 hours so a quality outlet is extremely important.

Would Not RecommendI went to Lowe’s looking for an outlet to use with my new range. A Lowe’s representative suggested I buy this outlet. My handyman installed it but to my surprise I could not find a cable that would fit into the outlet. I threw out the plastic bag it came in (which was my mistake), so I went to Lowe’s and tried to return it with the receipt and they did not take it back. I know it’s not a lot of money, but I am still upset about the situation. I think Lowe’s should train their people better to av...
