What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pump for exceptional reliability and performance in emergency water removal, calling it a lifesaver during floods and basement emergencies. Most highlight its simplicity, quick setup, lightweight design, and quiet operation. Many emphasize strong value for the price and express willingness to repurchase. However, some note the actual flow rate falls significantly short of advertised specifications, measuring closer to 6-10 GPM rather than 25-30 GPM. Several report the included hose adapter is poorly threaded and prone to stripping. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it highly effective and worthwhile.

Needs better fittings to screw on the hose. The plastic part will strip out. I had to heat it with a torch to get it to thread

Saved the living room from the rainstorms
Would RecommendThis Utilitech 1/3HP pump has been a lifesaver. Whoever poured our home's patio didn't pay attention to drainage grade and relied on patio drains that get clogged with leaves, dirt, etc. This is the third heavy rainstorm that we've called on ol' reliable to drain our patio lake to the downslope behind our yard and each time, I've said a prayer of thanks to Utilitech for building a reliable pump. That said, you'll need to purchase a garden hose and we purchased an adapter to connect said garden h...
