Would RecommendReceived the cord in good shape with no damage. Connected to my portable air conditioner which needed a heavy duty extension to connect to my 20 amp service. The extension cord was flexible and easy to handle. The insulation appeared ample protection for my active shop. Connected it as well to my 2 1/2 horse router allowing me to extend my router coverage to the entire shop. Also tried in my in wall 10000 btu air conditioner getting ready for the summer. Give one a secure sense having a hea...
Great extension cord
Would RecommendI got this for two reasons. first when the power goes out in my house I have a generator that runs most things. But not all so with this cord I can hook up the fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Second when I have to use the snow blower this cord works perfectly. It is fifteen feet long and the female end fits nicely to my electric start on the blower.
Sturdy power cord
Would RecommendI recently purchased a power recliner sofa. The length of the cord that came with the sofa was about 2 feet too short and there was no way to rearrange the room to make it work. The cord reached to the outlet but the connectors on the sofa's power supply were strained and the cord ran exposed across the floor. I thought a sturdy appliance extension cord would solve my problem and it did. Now the extension cord runs along the baseboard out of the way and relieves the stress on the sofa's power su...
Nice medium duty power cord
Power cord arrived on time. For me, it could have been longer, but I was able to use it in accordance to the standards it was built for. It does say on the label "appliance cord", but I used it with my air compressor. I had no problems with the air compressor coming up to shut-off pressure and when I felt the power cable, it wasn't warm at all. I think this is a good cable for the uses stated.
Good for 1875w, very heavy duty
Would RecommendI wanted this for my deep freezer since the cord just barely reached the outlet and was constantly pulling the plug out of the outlet; I know it's overkill, but I don't like plugging appliances into extension cords. This 12' extension cord handles up to 1875w, good enough for pretty much anything you plug into standard 15A outlets. This will handle small A/C units, space heaters, refridgerators, and other high draw appliances. My deep freezer is only 110w, but it's the peace of mind that make...
Nice (short) heavy duty cord
Would RecommendThe cord is a 14ga (stranded) flat, heavy cable that is 12’ long. Three pronged plug and socket. The socket is polarized in case you’re using a two-pronged polarized plug. The cord is rated for 15 amps. Using Ohm’s Law (Volts * Amps = Watts) to calculate maximum power, you can plug an 1,800 Watt appliance into this plug. I’m using this cord to extend the reach of my Utilitech space heater. On high it pulls about 1,600 Watts (13 amps). Curiously, the cord for the space heater is cons...
Best value for a heavy duty cord
Would RecommendGreat heavy duty cord for AC/heater higher amp usage. Has a nice 90 degree plug to go into wall without much protrusion. Works perfectly with a window AC unit or a small space heater. Cord doesn't stand out against the wall, hides easily. Best value for the money.
Quality 90 degree plug and cord for tight places
Would RecommendI picked this appliance cord because I was using a regular yellow extension cord inside my hose to run power to a small upright freezer and didn't like the yellow or that fact the plug came straight from the wall and I couldn't get my cabinet close enough to the wall. This cord met all my criteria, the light grey appearance blends into the background more than the bright yellow. the plug is only 3/4" deep so it fit behind the cabinet I needed it to. The flat style of the cable is perfect for run...
Fully molded Extension Cord
Would RecommendYou need the right extension cord for the right application. If your extension cord is warm to the touch, it’s too small. It’s always nice to have the right length, you don’t want to come up short. The package says for an Air conditioner but I’m going to use it for our wood pellet stove.
Heavy Duty Cord
Would RecommendThis cord is recommended for an air conditioner, however, I use it for my miter saw. The 12-foot length is good because the saw is not located near an outlet. I believe this electric cord would work great for any large electric current draw fixture, not just air conditioners.
Flexible and light
This cord is intended for temporary use only and should be matched to the air conditioner to be used on and compatible breaker. Make sure it is at least twice the amperage of your AC. This cord is rated 15 amp and is 14/3 gauge wire. This would be considered a medium duty air conditioner cord. Read the attached label on the cord for safety before plugging it in. I am using it for power tools in my shop and have not had any issues with it getting warm. So it can be used for other things than ...
Very Nice Worry-Free Cord
Extension cords are a necessary evil. Especially with air-conditioners, there rarely is a plug where you need it. You need to be careful to use a heavy enough gauge wire and cord for your unit. This cord is fantastic. First, it is very heavy-duty. It is made specifically for air conditioners and can handle the large load. Last is is built very tough. I used this cord in a bedroom situation where the plug was about 7' from the AC unit, which is 15,000 BTUs. I have it on a dedicated circuit for ...
Love these cords
Would RecommendLove these appliance cords because they are rated correctly for the use. I used to use indoor be on en or white drop cords or the outdoor cords to plug in products both of which are wrong for these applications. Now with these cords it rated correctly. It is grounded correctly. They come in multiple lengths. It’s so easy to hook up an appliance that it’s an exciting event. I definitely recommend this cord. Get several to have around.
Excellent extension cord
Would RecommendThis is the best heavy duty extension cord I've ever found for indoor use. The Gray color is excellent in blooms Inn we're as an Orange Orange or red cord would stand out.
