Just what we needed
Would RecommendThis was just what we needed to help patch up the hole in the siding at the base of my chimney. Easy to work with and cut.

Poor packaging!
Would Not RecommendDo not buy this unless you only need 7 feet of flashing. The first 3 feet of the roll is ruined because of the permanent sticker and tape they used to keep the roll together and put the label on. Removing the stickers leaves an adhesive residue that can’t be removed without chemicals. Incredibly inconvenient and occurred on all 4 rolls I purchased.
Satisfied
Would RecommendFor some strange reason a squirrel had begun gnawing at the wood below my front door about a 4 inch space from the top of my step to the door sill. I cut a piece of wood and attached this flashing to it and attached it in that space. Squirrel hasn't been back since.

As Chimney Flashing . .
Would RecommendSquirrels have been eating the former lead flashing repeatedly. I first repaired with lead, but the squirrels kept coming back. I've noticed they don't seem to eat aluminum or steel step flashing, so I decided to try this instead. Additionally, the cost is MUCH cheaper. Without any special brake or cutters I formed step flashing, and replaced ALL of the chimney flashing, cutting it back into the brick joints using a side grinder and re-mortared it. A slightly heavier gauge would have been ea...

News Flashing
Would RecommendThis flashing works well. It cuts easily with the right tools and bends to shape nicely with a seamer. It's brown on the reverse side which is convenient for those wanting a dark color. It's hard to go wrong with.

Flashing is Brittle
Would Not RecommendFlashing should be ductile to allow bending. This flashing breaks when bent. The clue I missed: this flashing will lay flat when rolled out. Ductile aluminum flashing will hold the curvature of the coil. If you don't need to bend the flashing, it may work for you. I prefer Lowes, but had to go to the competition for an acceptable product with white finish.
Used as interior edging
Would RecommendI used this to contain a plant that was becoming invasive in my garden. It is impossible to find an edging that is 10"! I dug out a trench along the plant, 10", placed the brown side away from the plant and buried the edging 6" below the soil line. This left enough room for the 4" of mulch to cover the remaining edging. I will see if this was enough to contain the plant but believe it will it will work beautifully.

Great product for the cost
Would RecommendThis product will crack if you do a tight bend with it, but other than that it is fine. Nice that it is brown on one side and white on the other.

MULTI-USE ALUMINUM FLASHING
Would RecommendVERY PLEASED WITH THIS TWO-COLOR FLASHING. I USED THE WHITE SIDE, CUT A STRIP WITH TIN SNIPS, DOUBLED IT, AND REPAIRED THE SIDING ON A TRAVEL TRAILER.

great purchase for what I was using it for
Would RecommendI used it to tuck under my siding to wrap a header board so that the water doesn't get behind it and rot out the wood. The only down fall to this product is that I wished it came in 12' lengths , the header board I warped was a 2x10x12 so I had to over lap.
