Great Concept
Would RecommendOne "powerhead" that controls many different attachments is great. The only negative to this item, the blade is so dang small! The powerhead has more than enough power to turn a blade a few inches bigger.
Did what it said it could do and more
Would RecommendI had a ton of scrub weeds, saplings, and palm fronds behind my fence that this product made short work of. I cut a good 10' wide by 100' long path with this and it never even flinched. Well worth the money and I plugged it onto a Husqvarna power head and it worked beautifully. Now my neighbor owns one too after he saw what could be done with it.
Works great, cuts everything up to small branches
Would RecommendI attached that on a Husqvarna 128CD and it worked like a charm. It took me a few hours of cutting but I was able to clear an area 50x90 yards of heavy brush. This thing cuts through everything including small branches/trees. Just remember to wear some ear protection as this tool at least in combination with the 128CD is loud.
Make the TrimmerPlus into a real "Cutter"
Would RecommendI've had a John Deere straight shaft "grass trimmer/brush cutter" for 30 years, which finally gave out. The brush blade was an 80 tooth blade. I finally bought a Husky trimmer with the 2 piece shaft. I was pleased with how the "brush attachment" went together, but disappointed in the results. It seemed to get tangled in the brush. It wasn't "cutting" in a "smooth pass", it was kind of "whacking" the brush. In a photo below, you can see how ragged the stubs were. Most any tool made for cutting i...
Works great
Would RecommendHave used it twice and it cuts through brush better than I expected.
Does the Job
Bought myself a Craftsman weed trimmer at Lowes When I opened the box the unit was clearly used. After some phone calls and belly aching the store manager and the corporate office replaced the unit and threw in a brush cutter for my trouble. Cudos to Lowes. I tried the cutter on my bamboo patch and it made short work of my 30 foot bamboo. What used to take me an hour by hand took me 10 minutes. Make sure you wear eye protection
Works well
Would RecommendOrdered this attachment to cut down a lot of brush and vines. Worked well!
Great, just wish it was bigger
Connects right to my Ryobi and works great. Cuts right through brush and vines, I only wish the blades were longer or maybe dual heads to cover a larger area faster.
Blade stuck, Its worthless
Would Not RecommendNo matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the blade out. The pin rod couldn't hold the blade. Tried clamping it down but the bolt itself is stuck on permanently. Idiots torqued it down to 1000 foot pounds of torque.
Fast Cutter!
Would RecommendCleared a 25x25 field of knee high grass and waist high weeds with ease. Highly recommend this for your brush cutting.
Excellent!
Would RecommendNeeded to clear land and this tool worked like a charm. From tall weeds to even small saplings, it cut right through! It didn’t work that well on the tall grass which seemed to wrap around it, but cut the brush very well!!
Work horse
Would RecommendCleared some heavy brush. Really tough on equipment, but held on and did a great job. BTW, fit my Husqvarna weed trimmer base.
