What Customers Are Saying
The brush cutter attachment received mixed reviews. Many customers found it excellent for cutting through thick brush, weeds, and small saplings, praising its ease of use and solid construction. However, some reported compatibility issues, with the attachment not fitting their trimmer models as advertised. There were also complaints about the blade being ineffective or dull, and the attachment jamming or stalling when used on thicker vegetation. The performance and compatibility of the attachment may vary depending on the specific trimmer it is used with.

Not worth it
Would Not Recommendconnected this to my craftsman weed eater and within 20 minutes the detention button had bent the shaft to it's left and right. Invest or rent a bush hog. That's what they're built for. Don't waste your money on all these attachments. Not all are created equal. As far as other attachments, I've had no issues and they've worked great.
This does not fit a Husqvarna
Would Not RecommendThe guy in the store told me craftsman attachment fits on Husqvarna. I searched the website for Husqvarna attachments. It brought this one up so I bought it. It does not fit.

Brush cutter Attachment
Would RecommendWorks on heavy over grown grass and up to 1/4inch thick branches easily. More than that will be more difficult. Start at top and work the cutter down so that long strands or vines will be sliced up and not bind up around blade or hit the area with the string trimmer first. Fast change outs between all attachments.
Stronger cutter than filament string weed eaters.
Would RecommendFar better cutter for those south Texas weeds. It lasts a lot longer than the filament string.
Great for thick brush
Would RecommendCuts through all brush and small trees. Only negative is tall grass will wrap around head and bind it up
I got this brush trimmer for my 80V Kobalt straight shaft trimmer and it works perfectly. The blades are a little short, but they cut through 1/4" to 1/2" thick weeds pretty easily.
Flimsy Tube Design
Would Not RecommendTube is flimsy and the anti-rotation system is not robust enough to withstand the rotational forces when the blade encounters an obstruction. Only after 3 uses, 20 min in duration, the shaft area around the push button deformed such that the head of the attachment now rotates 2 degrees out of position once the blade begins to rotate no matter how tight the locking collar is tightened. Just do not know how much longer the system will function in this state.
