What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this strainer for exceptional paint filtering performance, removing lumps, rust flakes, and debris to prevent sprayer clogs and deliver professional results. The durable mesh resists tearing through repeated use, and the elastic edge securely fits five-gallon buckets hands-free. Beyond paint, reviewers highlight surprising versatility—filtering honey, motor oil, and aquarium water—demonstrating broad utility. A few note the elastic band can pop if paint pours too quickly, requiring careful handling. Overall, most consider it an essential, multi-purpose tool offering excellent value.

Would RecommendGoing with a darker color this time. Have experience with paint from Low's, and have faith that it will look nice. The sun has the most bleaching effect on paint. Hope the dark color last longer.

A must-have for your paint spraying projects!
Would RecommendI wish I had known about this item a long time ago. Read about it in someone else's review. I thought there was an issue with my airless sprayer. Kept stopping on me. After a little research, I found out by reading someone else's review that you should use these to filter the paint before pouring into your sprayer. They also recommended leaving your sprayer in a bucket of water in between spraying. Their advice eliminates all of the issues that I was having with my sprayer clogging up.
Paint strainers
Excellent product, saves from having to clean gun over and over.
Clean Spray
Would RecommendWas easy to use and kept my slayer clean , the spandex straps don’t do much to hold but the size of the strainer is perfect, may be a little messy
Good strainers
Would RecommendGood strainers for all paints. Very few clogs with my grayco sprayer.
Saved me from buying Paint
Would RecommendI had 3 5 gallon buckets of older paint that was starting to clump and I was able to salvage a half gallon of paint which is more than what I needed. It fits great over a 5 gallon bucket but it goes all the way to the bottom which means you have to retighten it to make sure things are straining through like the should. Could probably be done with less netting material but it did the job as the salvaged paint was clump free and matched the walls nicely.
Worked as it should, would buy again
Would RecommendFit over the 5 gallon bucket well, filtered the paint and didn't break
Works great
Would RecommendThis product worked fine for what is was intended for. Price was reasonable. No issues with the product.
It works
Would RecommendDoes what it is intended to and filters paint with ease.
Must have item for all painting jobs
Would RecommendLet's face it, paint sometimes sits on the shelf for awhile before we, the consumer, get it into our homes/job sites. Paint is "chunky" because of this so, these strainer bags are the perfect solution strain the chunks that collect in the can or bucket. Better to have the chunks in the strainer bag than on your walls. I highly recommend these for any and all painting jobs.
Always strain your paint
Would RecommendMany time when the paint is poured from another container the elastic will come off the top of the bucket. Pour slowly and it works well.
