Would RecommendMUCH nicer than the PVC sleeves. Nice thick, sturdy sleeve. My only negative is the fact that Trex sells 36" tall railings, but only sells 30" and 48" sleeves. These are too expensive to be forced to waste so much material.

Post sleeve size
The exterior of the box says 4x4x48. That would imply the post sleeves would fit precisely over a 4x4 post. That is not the case. The actual interior dimension of the sleeve is 4.5x4.5” translating the need for 5x5 posts. Very misleading and virtual unchangeable once posts are installed.

Would RecommendSleeve fits perfectly over 4 x 4 post. Remember to buy the trim piece at the bottom and the cap on the top. The sleeve doesn’t supply anything structural so I concreted the 4 x 4 post and blocked it also. Really finishes out the rail and highly recommend it
