What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its realistic wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and minimal maintenance requirements. The toasted sand color and natural grain pattern closely resemble stained wood without the artificial look of other composites. Reviewers consistently report the material resists rot, warping, splintering, and fading even after prolonged sun exposure, while cleaning requires only soap and water. Many highlight the heavy, sturdy construction as evidence of quality and long-term reliability, with decks remaining in excellent condition through years of use and rough play. A few mention minor concerns about surface scratching or heat retention, though these remain uncommon among overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Very satisfied
Would RecommendTrex decking has been a game-changer for my outdoor living space. Its durability and low-maintenance nature have impressed me. The composite material looks remarkably like real wood, without the drawbacks of rotting or splintering. Installation was straightforward, and the deck has retained its color and texture even after exposure to harsh weather. The eco-friendly aspect is also a big plus. Great color
This deck board is a wonderful color with streaks of black adding variety and interest to the board. The board gets hot in the sun as expected. Very pleased with the product and you can’t beat the price.

Great looking product
Would RecommendThe product looks great and is easy to install. There is slight "flex" between joist (16" on center) since the boards are not solid. When installing as a "drink rail" on the handrail the screws are easily stripped out of the material if over tightened, and it is difficult to screw directly into the ridges. slippery when wet.

Unimpressed
Would Not RecommendDid my entire deck in toasted sand and less than 6 months nearly all the decking had split. Direct sun here in Hawaii caused it to crack than split. Trex warranty is so-so. They helped me through the process of getting replacement boards but doesn’t cover labor, etc… Now 8 months later the new boards are cracking as well. These boards do not hold up. Really let down. I wanted to buy a lot more because it looks clean but boy it’s been a headache and now I’m out over $3000 on split trex boards plu...
