Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Naturals 1-in x 6-in x 12-ft Toasted Sand Grooved Composite Deck Board

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its stunning appearance that rivals natural wood without the maintenance burden. Most highlight the rich Toasted Sand color and note the material looks even better in person than in samples. Reviewers consistently emphasize ease of installation, straightforward cutting, and compatibility with hidden fastener systems, making DIY projects manageable. The durability and low-maintenance benefits are frequently cited, with many specifically mentioning resistance to rot, splintering, and fading. A few note the material becomes very hot in direct sunlight, and some report minor board inconsistencies, though these concerns are rare and do not diminish overall satisfaction.

Terrible service Freon Lowe’s
Delivery driver damaged a piece when he dropped the decking on my driveway. He took a picture of the damage and said Lowe’s would credit me. I went back into Lowe’s and spoke to someone who put notes in my account and said someone would be out the next day to pick up the damaged piece. He also said they would deliver another piece. I asked for credit, but he said this is the way they do it with deliveries. No one ever showed up. It is now 2 weeks later. Very, very bad service from Lowe’s.

Great looking
Would RecommendThe grooved Trex is about one pound lighter per foot than solid Trex. So over a large deck, that's a lot less weight. Also, the grooves help the floor joists dry-out after rain so less chance of rot.

Disappointed with Trex decking
Would Not RecommendVery bowed in the ends. Rigid enough to be difficult to screw down ends flat. I had to make do with middle sections, buy extra and toss the ends.

You'll need more than you think.
Would RecommendProduct is pricey and a la carte. The screw packages vary between what the store has and what you can get online. Requires more than one person for installation - If your feet are dusty it shows.
