What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the composite decking for exceptional durability and minimal upkeep, with most highlighting its resistance to weather, warping, and rot without annual maintenance. The realistic wood-like appearance with rich coloration and authentic grain texture impresses reviewers, particularly in darker shades. Many appreciate the 95% recycled content and easy installation with hidden fasteners. Some note the grooved surface traps debris and occasional board straightness issues occur, though these concerns remain minor compared to widespread satisfaction with long-term performance and aesthetic appeal.

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
