Ratings & Reviews for Trex 4-in x 4-in x 4-ft Saddle Composite Deck Post sleeve
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the post sleeves for their sleek, finished appearance and effortless installation. Most highlight the crisp white finish that matches Trex decking perfectly, creating a polished, high-end look that dramatically improves curb appeal. Reviewers consistently report the sleeves slide smoothly over standard 4x4 posts and require minimal effort to install or adjust. Many appreciate the professional aesthetic and low-maintenance benefits. However, some note the vinyl material is soft and vulnerable to damage, with reports of cracking or chipping during handling. Despite these fragility concerns, most customers consider the visual transformation worthwhile.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
Would RecommendPurchased 10 Trex post sleeves online Also purchased railing, post caps, posts and base trim, 2300.00+. Paid 79.95 shipping. Order is coming from 3 different locations and n store pickup. That makes no sense, first delivery came this morning. One sleeve was broken after I unboxed all of them to checked for damage. Took it to my local Lowes and they refunded the cost. This is where the service is bad. Service counter staff said I can order online again but would cost 79.95 shipping or drive to ot...

Great looking deck railing
Would RecommendWe really like this product line for deck railings. One important note for DIY installation: you need a rather large saw to cut this product. Do a couple test cuts first before cutting it to length. We found that our 12in miter saw did not have enough clearance to cut it and we have to be extraordinal careful to not mare the outer coating.

I wish when you order something and it is picked up that there was a pause on a response to give a person time to actually use the items.
