Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Basics 1-in x 6-in x 20-ft Saddle Grooved Composite Deck Board

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the composite decking for exceptional durability, rich color, and low-maintenance performance. The heavy-duty construction feels thicker and more robust than competitors, with a ribbed underside reducing weight without sacrificing strength. The deep Saddle brown tone is described as beautiful and natural-looking, with color running throughout each board. Customers highly value minimal upkeep—cleaning requires only soap and water with no annual staining needed. The material resists moisture, fading, and splintering while remaining safe for bare feet. A few note the color feels too dark for their preference, though most find it an excellent long-term investment.

This is a sample
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this sample, as I am an interior consultant, I wanted something to show clients when recommending this product. As this is just a sample, it serves its purpose. This did not come with any literature about the product, or its cost.

Looks Great!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looks like a good improvement over earlier generations of Trex. The color coating is quite deep, and if scratched, holds its color well. The texture looks more like wood grain than some older Trex I have installed on my deck stairs, so this will be less slick when wet. This very solid, and I am hopeful that it will have outstanding durability.

Sturdy, Nice Color
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trex Enhance Composite Decking... requested & received a 1 ft. sample in the 'saddle' color. was surprised to see that the color ran very deep thru the decking piece. It was thicker, a sturdier feel than other brands of composite decking that I have been researching.

Saddle color decking
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the color, texture and thickness of the decking material. Best part is you can’t get splinters from this.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this flooring Trex - Enhance 1 ft Sample - saddle and i am impressed by the sturdiness. It is so very durable and will look great in a lot of areas. I am thinking about creating a patio and using this instead of pavers.

Nice!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a Enhance Saddle 1 ft sample for my parents. They are in the process of building a new deck. They were looking for a product that looks like wood, but is more efficient. This product is exactly what they want. They are excited to use this, as it will be easier to maintain and won’t be affected by the weather as regular wood would be.
