What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the realistic wood-like texture, consistent color, and professional appearance that enhances curb appeal. Most highlight exceptional durability and low maintenance—no staining, sealing, or painting required—with many reporting five-plus years of continued satisfaction. Reviewers consistently note the material is easy to cut, fasten, and install using standard tools, with the ribbed design reducing weight without compromising strength. A few mention the surface becomes very hot in direct sunlight, and some report isolated instances of damaged boards. I have been installing the Clam Shell grooved deck board for a few years now, each year buying more to complete the next project. This is a high quality composite board that is easy to install.

Would RecommendThe supplier to Lowe's failed to deliver it to Lowe's so while I had to reschedule the contractor it wasn't really Lowe's fault. I had an earlier order for twelve -12ft. boards that went smoothly. These two 12ft boards were for my original measuring error and the contractor's cutting errors.

Not happy
I gave explicit instructions to put the delivery off the right side of the driveway. Those were ignored and they put it IN the driveway on the RIGHT side. Hard to describe how mad I am. My last 4 orders from Lowes....THREE of them were screwed up. The ONLY reason you got 4 stars is because I am very satisfied with the material and the price.
