Would Not RecommendI purchased this to replace a few of my damage boards on my deck that I redid a few years ago and the new boards have a completely different pattern. They are also smaller in width and drastically thinner. It's about 3/16 thinner. Totally noticable next to the older ones. I guess trex found a cheaper way to make them.

TREX decking quality exceeds treated lumber
Would RecommendI really like the TREX decking products. I have worked extensively over the last 20 years with the traditional AC2 treated lumber. AC2 products simply do NOT last more than 5-6 years. The preservatives that are used in AC2 do not withstand the weather conditions of the Midwest AND even the best paints and stains fail to maintain treated lumber. With TREX decking, I feel the additional expense is well worth it for quality of materials and longevity.
