Ratings & Reviews for Trex Transcend 1-in x 8-in x 12-ft Havana Gold Composite Fascia Deck Board

Beautiful warm wood color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sample definitely looks and feels like wood. It does scratch like wood, but unlike wood, it's the same color all the way through, so no prob. It sheds water like a duck and I can imagine it will wear very well in the elements. Something to consider for a renovation is the very heavy weight of the product. Make sure it will be properly supported. Would love to have this on my front porch!

Great Deck Board!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample of Trex - Transcend Havana Gold Deck Board in the mail and i'm really happy i did...It's a really nice and strong Deck Board...we jumped on it...rubbed it into the ground to check wear and tear...rubbed mud on it and washed it off...it took a beating and held up beautifully...it's a little expensive but i do recommend...

Durable Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very durable board. It doesn't scratch easily, nor splinter easily either. It's a very dense quality. Appears to have a good UV coating. Very heavy weight per foot. I believe that you'd have to have a very sturdy frame to accommodate this material.

great decking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deck board is great. It is heavy and super sturdy!! Very nice color. Can see this lasting a really long time.

Nice deck boards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deck board seems to be durable. They are also weather proof. They feel pretty good on your feet when you step on it not very hard like I thought it would be. The color doesn’t look cheap and either does the product. They come in several colors so the hard part is choosing which one to pick. They have matching railing you can get to match the deck also

beautiful color

Havana Gold deck board sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this board sample is really great. Nice hint of yellow in the board. If I decide to build a deck this would be one of my favorites

This should build a sturdy deck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my sample of Transcend Havana Gold Deck Board. It is such a sturdy and well-constructed bit of board. I know it will make a great deck! Havana Gold is a lighter brown (medium-light, but still definitely brown; not at all tan). The construction is solid and should make for a great deck for years to come.

Everything I Want for My Deck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trex Deck Boards offer so many positive features that I would never choose anything else. The 25-year warranty, natural grain pattern, and 95 percent recycled material content is enough to convince me. But it also features easy cleanability, a non-slip surface, and fade and mildew resistance. Best of all, never will I need to stain, paint, or replace boards. Worth every penny!

Beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample to test. This product is awesome. I can only imagine how beautiful it would look on an entire deck. The product is very sturdy and would probably last for years. It is looks just like wood grain. It is heavyweight. The tongue and groove assembly will make it very easy to install. The Havana gold color is a realistic medium wood stain color. Definitely a great option for a maintenance-free deck!!

Trex Tiki Torch

The fascia is the finishing touch to the deck we just put in. Too soon to tell on wear but there is no doubt as too how attract tive it is.

Beware, it warps!

In July of 2015, I hired Lowes in Middletown NY to install a Trex deck. I decided to go with Trex because of the low maintenance associated with the product. I looks wonderful from 50ft away. Once you get to within a couple of feet you notice the facia boards warping! Anyone can write a good review after 30/60 even 90 days of a product. However, living with it for 2 years is a different story. Im not sure what needs to be done to fix the problem. I’m sure Lowes would not be pleased with hearing ...

It's solid heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the quality , this specific shade did not match anything in my house and I personally didn't like it. It also looked like faux wood so I am hesitant. It was just great quality though.

Quality Decking Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for deck board options, this is a great one. The product looks like the real thing, but is made to last.

Great quality.
