Fits the bill

Used for porch step treads and the Trex is the thing for this application. Winter will give a greater perspective but, I am not worried that these boards will be less than I anticipate.

Solid product

I installed this as a perimeter around a different style of Trex so that Cortex hidden fasteners could be used to secure it in place. It as a natural wood texture and deep, rich color. I would definitely recommend this line of Trex decking.

Better than wood

I never really knew Trex was not rigid like wood so it was a bit interesting getting it home on the roof of my SUV but it is well worth it.

The Gold Deck - Transcend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised on how sturdy this Gold Deck Board was while taking it through a test. As I ran my hand across the board I was able to feel the texture and the deep crevice on the board. The thickness was definitely a plus. Using this type of board to construct a usable deck will be a plus. The only drawback I can see is matching it up with the exterior brick. I did just that and unfortunately it was a bit too dark. But if I find on that comes ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a piece of deck board. This color is a medium brown. It is very heavy. Very good quality. We have a yellow home. It looks nice. They advertise fade and stain resistance for 25 years. That is pretty incredible.

Beautiful warm wood color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sample definitely looks and feels like wood. It does scratch like wood, but unlike wood, it's the same color all the way through, so no prob. It sheds water like a duck and I can imagine it will wear very well in the elements. Something to consider for a renovation is the very heavy weight of the product. Make sure it will be properly supported. Would love to have this on my front porch!

Great Deck Board!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample of Trex - Transcend Havana Gold Deck Board in the mail and i'm really happy i did...It's a really nice and strong Deck Board...we jumped on it...rubbed it into the ground to check wear and tear...rubbed mud on it and washed it off...it took a beating and held up beautifully...it's a little expensive but i do recommend...

Durable Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very durable board. It doesn't scratch easily, nor splinter easily either. It's a very dense quality. Appears to have a good UV coating. Very heavy weight per foot. I believe that you'd have to have a very sturdy frame to accommodate this material.

Nice deck boards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deck board seems to be durable. They are also weather proof. They feel pretty good on your feet when you step on it not very hard like I thought it would be. The color doesn’t look cheap and either does the product. They come in several colors so the hard part is choosing which one to pick. They have matching railing you can get to match the deck also

Havana Gold deck board sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my sample of Transcend Havana Gold Deck Board. It is such a sturdy and well-constructed bit of board. I know it will make a great deck! Havana Gold is a lighter brown (medium-light, but still definitely brown; not at all tan). The construction is solid and should make for a great deck for years to come.

Everything I Want for My Deck

The 25-year warranty, natural grain pattern, and 95 percent recycled material content is enough to convince me. But it also features easy cleanability, a non-slip surface, and fade and mildew resistance. Best of all, never will I need to stain, paint, or replace boards. Worth every penny!
