What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its realistic wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and virtually maintenance-free performance. The Foggy Wharf color—a modern grey with subtle blue tones—receives particular admiration for its fade resistance and natural finish. Reviewers consistently highlight the absence of painting, staining, or sealing requirements, plus resistance to rot, splinters, and warping. Installation is described as straightforward and manageable for first-time builders, with grooved undersides aiding fastener placement. A few note occasional board imperfections or surface warmth in direct sun, but these minor concerns rarely diminish overall satisfaction. Most customers consider it a superior, worry-free alternative to wood.

Would RecommendHave used the product many times it is easy to use and looks great. I wish the clips were not as costly. But the end product is worth it

Enhanced Foggy Wharf. Best ever!
Would RecommendRemoved a rotted 12 yo wood 12 x 21 deck, joists and piers. Installed new materials including underpinnings to support a 300 gallon spa. Also went with black Trex railing system. Old deck used 4x posts, I went back with 6x in 16" concrete per pier. Grooved 12 ft boards and hidden fasteners. Been on for 2 months now. Yes, under hot sun the surface is pretty warm. But overall, it's exactly what we hoped to get and longevity for less maintenance was key for us.

Redoing an existing deck can be time consuming!
Would RecommendThe Foggy Wharf Trex looks good see pix, installed well and we expect it will serve us for years to come. It was difficult to estimate what length board would produce the least amount of waste. Lowes recommended ordering more than a minimum amount because they would allow us to return any unused material ( Trex).

High Quality
Would Not RecommendI have placed approximately 1400 sq ft of this decking in the last year on a cottage renovation. The product is easy to work with. Holds up well in the elements and is not slippery when wet.

Nice material
Would RecommendVery easy to work with and Foggy Bottom looks beautiful. Be sure to the the square ends for steps and edging, but use the grooved for your main deck area. Different lengths available make the project look cleaner.

Easy install
Would RecommendBeautiful color and lightweight. Easy to install and happy that I got these delivered so easily from Lowe's. A few of them have a little warpage but that is fairly easily corrected with the appropriate attachments

Trex quality and look
Would RecommendSeems like a quality overall product, the customer was very happy with the look, the durability seems good, solid grip for wet situations. I wasn't thrilled with how easily it scratches, i expect the wear to show in not a long period of time.

Beautiful but HOT
Would RecommendBeautiful decking. Easy to cut and very uniform in color and size. However it does get blisteringly hot when in the sun. You cannot walk on this in bare feet.
