Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Naturals 1-in x 6-in x 12.0-ft Foggy Wharf Grooved/Scalloped Composite Deck Board

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its realistic wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and virtually maintenance-free performance. The Foggy Wharf color—a modern grey with subtle blue tones—receives particular admiration for its fade resistance and natural finish. Reviewers consistently highlight the absence of painting, staining, or sealing requirements, plus resistance to rot, splinters, and warping. Installation is described as straightforward and manageable for first-time builders, with grooved undersides aiding fastener placement. A few note occasional board imperfections or surface warmth in direct sun, but these minor concerns rarely diminish overall satisfaction. Most customers consider it a superior, worry-free alternative to wood.

Would RecommendNeeded 20 16' Trex boards. Suppose to be 40 in stock, somehow they lost 30 $42 boards and didn't know it. Of the (dirty/stained)10 in stock, all but 3 had significant gouges. Putting damaged returns back into stock as new condition at full price is a non-starter. Got help searching for lost inventory from the Pro Desk. Kudos to those guys. Went to 2nd store. Found 11 good boards with a half dozen 2nds. Many aisles in rear half of store were blocked by carts full of (customer ordered?) materials ...

1300sq feet of Trex
Would RecommendWe bought this on sale at Lowes and gave it to our builder. It was about 20% off and we were able to do our whole 7' wrap around deck in trex. The only issue I have is that we had to use a Clamshell for the trim because they didnt have the exact matching trim (12") boards. However it still looks great and you can't tell the difference.

Examine the board edges
These were just installed. I expect they'll continue to look good for a long time. But I suggest you examine the boards closely when you pick them up. We had ordered carefully so that we'd have boards with no seams, and when we unpacked them, there was damage on one board edge, so we had to have a seam after all.

Be concerned of board length ordered
The very ends, about 6-8 inches, are curled upwards. I have yet to lay and fasten the boards yet. I hope they will flatten.

Curls up at the ends.
Would Not RecommendI secured decking in some places only 3 inches from the end and it still curled up. A previous installation of a different product fastened the same way has not curled. I am forced to pull it all up and put in additional supports at the exact end
