What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its stunning appearance, exceptional durability, and straightforward installation. Most highlight the realistic wood-like texture, beautiful color consistency, and premium finished look. Many emphasize how easy it is to cut and install, especially with hidden fastener systems. Reviewers consistently note its rot, splinter, and weather resistance, with long-term durability that outperforms traditional wood. A few report receiving damaged boards or note the material becomes very hot in direct sunlight and slippery when wet. Overall, most customers consider it a worthwhile investment despite the higher upfront cost.

Would RecommendThe boards are exactly as we expected. The color is consistent from board to board even though we purchased the boards from three stores. We haven't installed the boards yet, so I can't comment on their performance in weather.

Some inconsistent grooves
Some of the boards seem to be reject’s or not consistent in terms of the grooves. There supposed to be narrow on one side to hold the clips and wider on the other so the clip slides into the next board. Well some of these boards have wide grooves on both sides which makes installation a little more challenging.

Check it out carefully and have lots of furniture
Would Not RecommendMoved to house with existing large deck that needed new top boards as the pt 1x6 's were in bad shape and planned to use the Trex grey boards to replace. Checking Trex website for info they claimed joists I had on 16" centers were fine for residential and 12" joist centers for commercial. Well it looked great until the first hot summer day and this is only in PA ,my deck looks like the ocean with all the waves in it and if any joists are not perfectly level and I mean" PERFECT" it only magnifies...

Would RecommendLowes staff were super helpful in loading the decking into my truck. Unfortunately, some of the decking was damaged by the forklift. I only found the damage when I got home and unloaded my truck.

Watch the bowed ends.
Would Not RecommendThe ends are pretty bowed making a good 10-15 percent of the board unusable. Or if you don’t catch them your deck will look wonky.
