Ratings & Reviews for Trex 4-in x 4-in Vintage Lantern Composite Deck post base trim
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these deck post trim pieces for delivering a polished, professional finish that dramatically enhances deck aesthetics and creates a cohesive, upscale look. The two-piece snap-together design earns consistent praise for ease of installation, with many noting it's accessible even to non-professionals. Most find the trim seamlessly hides the junction between posts and decking. However, some report fit issues with standard posts due to sizing confusion, and a few mention visible seams and material quality concerns. Despite these drawbacks, the vast majority consider the aesthetic improvement and installation simplicity well worth the investment.

Pair with the trex post sleeves
Would RecommendUpgraded posts to the trex system - these do a nice job of hiding where the post sleeve meets the decking.
