From drab to Shab

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow...better than what I thought. I can wait to start on my new deck! These boards are well made and are reasonably priced. They are thick, water resistant, easy to install and made to last! My deck is going to be my new favorite place to be. I love the color I choose. (The have several to pick from) I am sure that though out the years I will have to repair and replace things in my house but my deck will not be one of those.

Nice looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample of this to see if it's something we may consider. I like the color but would choose something more in a brown. We live in the North and get alot of snow, not sure how this would be to walk on with the ice and slippery conditions we get. It's very thick not a flimsy piece of decking.

Newly surfaced deck looks great.

We had to rebuild our 35-year-old treated deck due to rotting, cracking, and splitting of the wood. It was no longer safe to walk barefoot on it. The joists had to be reworked for closer spacing. Interestingly, the joist wood had held up much better than the surface boards had. The Island Mist decking looks fantastic! It arrived in perfect shape, and installed without difficulty. We look forward to many years of outdoor enjoyment.

Has anyone actually USED this product?

I'm looking for legitimate reviews, as this is VERY expensive. ALL reviews on here are from promotions which asked opinions, not from users. They should be deleted.

High quality deckboard

The weight of the trex board was heavy and I feel like it would maintain its integrity for a very long time period. The color was beautiful and the grain in the Trex looks like real wood and is very comfortable to step on.

Durable

Quality product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Trex deck material is high quality with a durable feel and great looking finish. Part of my deck is made of Trex and it lasts longer and looks better than wood. Instead of repainting the wooden parts again, I’m going to replace the rest with Trex in a contrasting color to update it with a modern, upscale look.

Great Features!

Solid and well built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This board seems to be very structurally sound. Doesn't seem clumsy or weak. The color would pop well with high quality fixtures. Looks easy to connect with other boards. Would last a very long time.

Sturdy, well made, attractive.

The inside looks like composite, and the coating is what I believe is the wood look material. I walked over this with bare feet as well, and it didn't provide the feeling of splintering that sometimes happens with real wood. Sturdy
