Ratings & Reviews for TREX Transcend 1-in x 6-in x 12-ft Island Mist Composite Deck Board

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the realistic wood-like appearance, particularly the Island Mist color with its gray-blue coastal tone that complements modern designs. Reviewers highlight the dense, heavy-duty construction, consistent color retention, and durability that outperforms traditional wood, with many reporting decks looking new after five years. The hidden fastener system and finished board edges are appreciated for clean aesthetics. Some note the boards get very hot in direct sunlight, and a few mention concerns about the wear layer, though most consider these minor drawbacks. Overall, customers strongly recommend this as a low-maintenance, long-lasting decking solution.
