What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the decking for its stunning aesthetics, exceptional durability, and ease of installation. The Island Mist shade delivers a realistic coastal gray wood appearance with visible grain effects that enhances curb appeal. Reviewers consistently highlight the sturdy, heavy-duty construction, 25-year warranty, and hidden fastening system that eliminates visible screw holes for a clean finish. Many appreciate the consistent color throughout each board and low-maintenance nature. A few note concerns about surface depth or isolated color batch inconsistencies, but these are vastly outweighed by strong overall satisfaction and recommendations.

Would RecommendColor match to Armadillo decking was very close. It's hard as a rock. Even self-drilling deck screws had trouble penetrating, so I drilled pilot holes. Worked perfectly.

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
