What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its exceptional aesthetics, durability, and low-maintenance performance. Reviewers consistently highlight the realistic wood-like texture and coastal gray tones that complement various home styles, with many noting the deep, rich coloration looks authentic. Most emphasize the heavy-duty, solid construction that resists rot, warping, and weather damage, with long-term users reporting it still looks new. Many commend the ease of cutting and installation, plus the non-slip surface. A few mention concerns about surface depth or slight warping upon arrival, and some question the higher price point. Overall, the vast majority consider it a worthwhile investment for durable, maintenance-free decking.

Would RecommendThe product as far as looks, and overall quality are fine the issue that I have now and have had it twice is the width of the deck board itself. Out of ordering 30 boards and sending them back twice because the width that is specified on all of the literature is 5 1/2" and you set your deck up for that width to match the other side of a picture frame for spacing and receive deck board that are 5 3/8" wide your spacing is all thrown off. See pictures. I have even talked to Trex with their NW sale...

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
