What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the realistic wood-like color options, exceptional durability, and low-maintenance design. Most highlight the rich, natural appearance that resists fading and staining, along with the dense, heavy construction that feels premium and long-lasting. Many note the boards withstand heavy foot traffic and weather without warping or wear. Installation is generally straightforward, with hidden fastener systems appreciated. A few report issues with board straightness or defects upon arrival, and some mention pricing concerns. Overall, reviewers consider this a superior alternative to traditional wood decking.

Would Not RecommendThe job remains unfinished after months of delay and cost overruns. The product is sitting under a pile of snow in the backyard.

Bulletproof
Would RecommendThese are amazingly dense and correspondingly heavy. However, I suspect that these will be around longer than the treated lumber that they are installed on. They have a very nice embossed wood grain texture and look that also serves as a slip-resistant finish. I chose the solid planks because I was building stairs and needed the solid edge instead of the hidden fasteners on the stair treads. I highly recommend the C-Deck Composite Deck Screws from Screw Products, Inc. with the color matched ...

More cons than pro.
Would Not RecommendAs beautiful as this product is in the beginning, it's not worth it in the end. If you are worried about scratches and stains, yes, this product will indeed scratch and stain. Yes, there is maintenance required on this product to keep it looking nice but once you scratch it or it gets stained, you are stuck with it unless you replace it. Not a simple case of going back over it with stain or using a wood filler or something of that nature. If you have used the hidden fastener system, be prepared ...

Beautiful, Strong, and Long Lasting!
Built my back deck with the entire Trex Transcend Composite Deck Boards! It looks beautiful and the best part is the hidden hardware. There are no nail/screw holes showing because the hardware fits within the grooves! I can also put full faith in the longevity of the deck because I know the composite material wont rot! Would buy again and I recommend it to anyone else who wants a high quality deck!
