What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its realistic wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and minimal maintenance requirements. Reviewers highlight the rich color variations, elegant finish, and resistance to fading, scratching, and splintering even after years of exposure. The boards are described as solid, sturdy, and dense, with many noting their decks still look new after extended use. While some mention the material retains heat in direct sunlight and becomes slightly slippery when wet, most consider these minor trade-offs. A few report isolated warping or defective boards, though replacements were handled smoothly. Overall, customers find the quality and longevity justify their investment.

Would RecommendFinished product comes out looking really nice. Just make sure you order plenty of the PVC plugs to conceal the screws ahead of time. Rope Swing is a color that sells fast and availability is sometimes difficult.
More cons than pro.
Would Not RecommendAs beautiful as this product is in the beginning, it's not worth it in the end. If you are worried about scratches and stains, yes, this product will indeed scratch and stain. Yes, there is maintenance required on this product to keep it looking nice but once you scratch it or it gets stained, you are stuck with it unless you replace it. Not a simple case of going back over it with stain or using a wood filler or something of that nature. If you have used the hidden fastener system, be prepared ...

But nobody said.......
Would RecommendProbably the best deck boards available on the market. I refurbished an existing upper deck and built another directly beneath, both about 12'x24'. Both decks have two "double picture frame" layout (didn't want any butt joints). My upper deck has been down for about three years with no fading or failure issues. Overall very pleased with outcome but..... What nobody told me: *12ft boards are 5.5" wide and 12'1.5" long. That length info would have been beneficial had I known in advance. *All...

Great Product
Would RecommendI have a 1200 square foot deck that I am redoing in sections with the Trex Trancend Island Mist. Similar to other composite products I have to work with the temperature and direct sun light have an impact on the length and even the width. Once you know this you work around it and it works. Very happy with final look of this product. Our front porch is the same material and it is holding up perfectly.

Better than wood
Would RecommendI never really knew Trex was not rigid like wood so it was a bit interesting getting it home on the roof of my SUV but it is well worth it.

Feels Tough, Dark Color
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After looking at, walking on, and spilling liquids on this deck board sample I would definitely consider it if I was in the market for new decking for our home. The thing I like the most is that the board itself is covered with a plastic-like cover, making it weatherproof. It also means no more cleaning and painting every year. It does resemble a real-life board but you can tell it is not. It appears to be made of a thick press board that is co...

This deck board is really sturdy!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a piece of deck board. This color is a dark brown. It is very heavy. Very good quality. We have a yellow home. It looks nice. They advertise fade and stain resistance for 25 years. This is a high performance composite. It will make a beautiful deck!

Another Durable Product
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very durable board. It doesn't scratch easily, nor splinter easily either. It's a very dense quality. Appears to have a good UV coating. Very heavy weight per foot. I believe that you'd have to have a very sturdy frame to accommodate this material.
