What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the composite decking for its realistic wood-like appearance, rich and consistent coloration, and heavy, sturdy construction. Reviewers highlight the detailed wood grain and authentic texture that closely mimics real wood, with many noting the color remains true and vibrant over time. The boards feel durable and solid, with several customers reporting decade-old decks still looking new. Most appreciate the low-maintenance qualities and ease of installation comparable to traditional lumber. A few report minor warping or scratching from sharp objects, and some note slight slipperiness when wet or heat retention in direct sunlight. Overall, customers consider the product a worthwhile investment for lasting quality and minimal upkeep.

Would RecommendThe product as far as looks, and overall quality are fine the issue that I have now and have had it twice is the width of the deck board itself. Out of ordering 30 boards and sending them back twice because the width that is specified on all of the literature is 5 1/2" and you set your deck up for that width to match the other side of a picture frame for spacing and receive deck board that are 5 3/8" wide your spacing is all thrown off. See pictures. I have even talked to Trex with their NW sale...

2x4 16’ long Trex Board
Would RecommendI’m using this as a handrail to compliment the clam shell trex deck boards I installed on our bedroom balcony. The piece I received was 16’ 1” which was perfect for my job. And trex is trex. It’s a really good product!
