What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the decking for its realistic wood-like texture, rich coloration, and solid, heavy construction that feels premium and long-lasting. Many highlight exceptional durability, noting resistance to fading, warping, and damage from pets and weather. Reviewers appreciate the maintenance-free nature and hidden fastener system that creates a clean, seamless look. Most find installation straightforward, though some note pre-drilling is necessary due to material density. A few report minor color inconsistencies between boards or occasional warping, and some mention the weight makes handling challenging. Overall, customers consider it a worthwhile investment that exceeds expectations.

Would RecommendColor match to Armadillo decking was very close. It's hard as a rock. Even self-drilling deck screws had trouble penetrating, so I drilled pilot holes. Worked perfectly.

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
