What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the decking for its realistic wood-grain appearance, rich color tones, and exceptional durability that resists scratching, fading, and weather damage. Many highlight the maintenance-free surface eliminates staining and painting, saving time and cost long-term. Reviewers note the boards are easy to cut, drill, and install with a hidden fastener system creating seamless surfaces. Several customers report the material remains beautiful after five years of use. A few mention minor issues with board straightness or color appearing darker than online images, though most consider these drawbacks insignificant against the overall quality and convenience.

Would RecommendThe product as far as looks, and overall quality are fine the issue that I have now and have had it twice is the width of the deck board itself. Out of ordering 30 boards and sending them back twice because the width that is specified on all of the literature is 5 1/2" and you set your deck up for that width to match the other side of a picture frame for spacing and receive deck board that are 5 3/8" wide your spacing is all thrown off. See pictures. I have even talked to Trex with their NW sale...

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
